Bitpro

Bitpro was established in 2007 in Kristiansand and Kistefos invested in the company in 2019. The company merged with Proximo Norge, a sister company of Kistefos’ portfolio company NextGenTel, in 2020. Proximo has since the early 2000 delivered broadband to Norwegian corporates and was a key contributor to the development of the broadband network in Norway. The merger made the combined company a leading provider of cloud-based communication and security solutions for corporate customers in Norway. In 2021, Bitpro acquired KeyNet AS to further strengthen its offering towards communications solutions for larger corporates.

Bitpro has offices in Kristiansand, Bergen and Oslo, and currently employs around 80 people.
